Color maintenance

All color treated hair fades overtime but to ensure that your custom colored wig remains vibrant for as long as possible it is recommended that you:

• Wash the hair less often. When you do wash the hair use COLD WATER only, this reduces the amount of bleeding you'll receive. HOT WATER will make the dye bleed more, causing the color to fade faster.
• Make sure the products you're using aren't stripping your color. Use sulfate free and alcohol free products. Never use clarifying shampoos, they will strip the color fast.
• Reduce the amount of heat you put on the hair & use heat protectant. Constantly using hot tools on colored hair will cause the color to fade faster. It is recommended that you keep the heat under 350 degrees.
